This Lid is ideal for further increasing the possible uses for the Moebe Storage Box. It keeps the contents dust-free and creates a surface that can be utilised as a table or sideboard. There are no fixings for the lid, it simply slides into place and secures itself with two notches that slot into the box edges.

Reviewing a lid

It does feel a bit strange reviewing a lid - I'll point out I bought this to go with the Moebe storage box. I felt like a bit of an idiot because the lid initially didn't fit the box. I looked at the RWM site and realised from the picture that the lid slides under the metal braces of the box and not, as I tried to put it, sitting on top. The whole thing is both well made and stylish and has given me an opportunity to tidy away a load of stuff, instead of it cluttering up the place. The wood of the box and lid also goes well with the Cutter stool and Cutter box that I've got sitting alongside.

From memory we did exactly the same thing as you, and then reviewed the images on our own website to check how that lid goes on! It's just a little unexpected I think, Moebe always think outside the box.
