These beautiful round hand-cast planters are individually polished by hand in a four stage finishing process leaving the surface smooth to the touch. Each Conpot planter is then finished with a waterproof seal which lasts for 10 years. The heavy base lends the planter a feeling of quality and stability, creating excellent strength.

Classic Grey – Limestone which is sourced in Derbyshire and set in grey Portland cement. The pastel grey planters are polished to reveal dark grey veins and multi tonal grey flecks.

Black Basalt – Made from Black Basalt sourced in Shropshire; the planters feature an inky black stone set in black pigmented Portland cement. The satin gloss finish of the Black Basalt with Beeswax highlights the dark flecks and gives the surface a slight sheen.

White Marble – White marble sourced from Spain is set in white Portland cement. The polished surface reveals delicate translucent white flecks.

White Marble with Coloured Flecks – This colourway features a complex mix of materials including: White marble, red granite, black basalt, limestone and kiln-dried flint set in a white Portland cement. The result is a surface with multi coloured flecks.

Green Granite - Made using Welsh green granite, sourced from a quarry near the Brecon Beacons National Park. The polished and waxed surface reveals a rich green stone set in pigmented Portland cement.

Red Granite - Made using Scottish red granite, this colourway is our personal take on a traditional terracotta planter. These planters are polished to reveal tonal flecks of red granite in pigmented Portland cement. Finished with beeswax for a subtle sheen.

Because each planter is hand-made in a small studio and not in a controlled environment, the concrete can behave differently with each pour. It is normal for small bubbles or cracks to appear on the surface of a planter and has no effect on its integrity, which we feel adds to the beauty of the material.

Conpot products are a collaboration between textile designer Kezia Regan and architectural designer Alastair Mitchell. The multidisciplinary design studio focusses on material, process and provenance.

Specialising in concrete, Conpot has a range of homewares and surfaces which explore the terroir of the material, with each product having a distinct geological identity.

Conpot's designs are a journey around the UK's rich strata, sourcing raw material and crafting objects which capture the diverse palette of the landscape. The designs seek to offer a deeper connection between everyday objects and the materials from which they are created.
