The versatile Raami tumblers are to be used for all occasions, from breakfast through to dinner. Designed by Jasper Morrison for Iittala, the tumbler's characteristic design with a pattern inside the glass creates richness on the dining table. There are three different colour variations which can be mixed to create a colourful table setting, especially when matched with the Raami Tealight Candle Holder. The shape and weight of the tumbler makes for a relaxed atmosphere and feels good to hold in your hand.

Jasper Morrison's Raami collection is meticulously designed down to the smallest detail and honed down to the essential. The feeling of Raami (Finnish for ‘frame’) is familiar, like something you've known throughout your life. When taking a closer look, its fine characteristics come out. When designing Raami, Jasper Morrison considered the role that objects have in creating an atmosphere. A good atmosphere at the table frames the moment and promotes our enjoyment of the food and the company of the people around us. The result of the design process is Raami, Iittala's dining collection which inspires better living.

As our lives get busier, we seek balance and versatility; objects to be loved and used day in and day out, essentials that last from decade to decade and simplicity that has the power to improve our daily lives. Rather than concentrating on the material things, we celebrate the gatherings, the conversations and the relationships. We stand for progressive Nordic living. Always striving for balance and better ways of living; refining the ways we coexist with each other and our surroundings.

Jasper Morrison

Jasper Morrison is one of Britain’s most successful and well renowned industrial designers. He is best known for a design approach that makes hard-working products appear aesthetically quiet. Born in London in 1959, Jasper received his bachelor of design degree from Kingston School of Art in 1982, and his master's degree in design from the Royal College of Art in 1985. In 1984 he received a Berlin scholarship to study in Germany at the Hochschule...

Really beautiful glasses

I've been wanting to buy these glasses since they were launched, and finally did! They are beautiful and lovely to use. They are a little smaller than I envisaged. The glass is smooth on the outside with the texture on the inside of the glass. Lovely quality as always. I will buy another set.
