HAY has developed the New Order System in collaboration with designer Stefan Diez. It is a modular table and shelving system designed to fit and adapt to the ever changing requirements of contemporary living and working spaces. The modular open-grid construction creates a framework to work with an expansive collection of components and accessories. The remarkable array of components allows you to create a myriad of distinct designs and arrangements to perfectly suit your needs. 

New Order can be used to display or hide away items with equal ease, configurations can be placed against a wall or even mid-floor as a room divider to create new internal space arrangements. The system can be built and easily disassembled to change its purpose or layout, making it ideal if you move home and have a new space to fit in to. Made from high strength extruded aluminium, New Order can also hold heavier loads than nearly all other minimal shelving solutions, it is the quintessential container for your large hardback books or record collection.

This product listing is for Combination 203 - popular components selected by HAY to create a long sideboard with a tray top. New Order Combination 203 comprises of an open shelf, closed cupboards and an upper tray fulfilling a wide range of storage needs. The sliding doors efficiently conceal any less visually appealing contents while the open-top trays securely contain a variety of small or large items.
