Form and Refine's Damsbo Master Dining Table is a classic table design made exceptional with refined details and meticulous craftsmanship. The tables name is the clue to its origin; only sustainable oak wood sourced from the Damsbo Forest on Funen Island Denmark is used to create it.
The tabletop is constructed from continuous-length wide staves of quality oak, with pleasingly tactile curved edges. A bracing bar runs underneath the top and connects to the legs which ship separately. The legs are made from generously proportioned solid oak, and connect to the tabletop with both hidden fixings and a beautiful brass fixing you bolt through a small oak bracing. The oak reacts wonderfully with a treatment of natural oil to allow the table to endure hard use and over time, a lovely patina will form.
With a length of 240 cm the Damsbo Table provides ample space for 8 people (including use of the ends). The slightly inset legs are positioned to not obstruct the legs of the persons seated at the table, whilst also providing the perfect space for anyone using the ends. Pair it with any good dining chair or perhaps F&R's own Position Bench.
