Form and Refine's Angle Foldable Stool is an innovative furniture design that fits all desires; be it form, functionality, comfort or durability. The stool is a highly comfortable place to sit, with two rounded planks angled 10 degrees towards each other. The leather band underneath the seat, with a supporting brass rod, gives the stool its final touch of detailing and a distinctive form.

As the name suggests... The stool is foldable and can be stored on a brass wall hook (supplied), making it a smart space-saving design. The stool is a very durable item thanks to its solid oak construction and brass connections.

Herman Studio on the design: Angle comes in oak and black-stained oak. Our wish was to design a comfortable and cool folding stool. Concurrently it had to be decorative and distinct when hung upon the wall. Because the top seating parts are reversed towards each other, it can be sat on pleasantly for hours on end.

This product is designed by
Herman Studio

Herman Studio was founded in 2012 by two architects; Helle Herman Mortensen and Jonas Herman Pedersen. Their work spans from textile, ceramics, lighting and furniture design to interior design.

A characteristic of their design is each objects’ clear distinct silhouette. Working with an identifiable outline for each object, makes the design stand out simply, clearly and recognisably. Their great passion for design is in addition to aesthetics especially about construction and the use of materials. They work using a methodical and sequential process between sketches, models and prototypes. Their design process often starts by studying construction methods which plays a central role throughout the entire design process in their own workshop.
