Delivery Information

Charges for postage and packaging will be determined at the time of your order. For UK wide orders amounting to £75 or more, we offer free delivery. For orders under £75 we charge £4.95 postage. Worldwide delivery costs vary depending on the size/weight of the item and country of delivery. When a product has been dispatched we will email you to let you know it is on its way, all parcels will require a signature on delivery. Some countries do not have an automatic price given at the checkout – please contact us for more details and a bespoke shipping cost.

We use a variety of couriers to expedite our products based on the size of package and location of the customer. In the UK we use Royal Mail for small items and Parcelforce for medium to large items. Product which exceed Parcelforce's maximum size will be transported by another courier or by our 2-man delivery service. Please see the bottom of this page for more details - this can be useful if you have difficult access or just need a hand with heavy goods.

Whichever courier we use, your purchase is always insured for the full value of replacement. We promise to make sure that your item reaches you in perfect condition and we will happily replace any items that do not. Occasionally couriers do not keep to their promised timescales – These errors are unfortunately outside of our control but where this does happen we will contact the courier on your behalf and resolve any issues as swiftly as possible.

It is the customer's responsibility to give an address where they will be present to accept and sign for a delivery. If the customer is not at their given address on three successive occasions where delivery has been attempted, the item may be returned to our warehouse. Where this occurs it is the customer's responsibility to pay for another shipment booking. If you have any special delivery requirements such as a Saturday delivery or a Gift delivery please contact us when you place your order. Where possible we will try to meet all customer delivery requests but please note that timed and Saturday services will usually incur an extra cost above our standard priced services.

Our free UK shipping services include shipping to the door of delivery provided it is on the ground floor or easily accessible. If you require delivery to a difficult to access property or need help assembling your items please refer to our assembly and packaging information below.

Warehouse collection

If you wish to pick up your purchase you can do so from our London based warehouse. Please contact us beforehand and arrange a suitable time from Monday to Friday and we will ensure there is a staff member ready to meet you. No cash is kept on the premises and all payments must be made beforehand with an online order, please bring a print-out of your order with you to confirm your identity. Stock items

In stock items will be dispatched within 1-3 working days and we will notify you by email once your order has been sent – tracking numbers are given for most shipments.

Made to order items

‘Made to order’ products are ordered in specially for you with specific lead times, these lead times are stated in the written text column for each item we sell. As soon as we receive the goods into our warehouse we will contact you to arrange delivery. We aim to dispatch all goods to you within 2-4 days of arrival into our warehouse. Please note that stated lead-times are the official guidance from the manufacturer. Often products can be delivered within these timescales but very occasionally manufacturing/quality problems or items being unexpectedly out of stock can delay this date – If this happens we will keep you informed. We cannot, however, accept liability for any loss or inconvenience that may result from the delay.

Returns/Faulty goods

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your item it may be returned to us within 14 days of the original purchase date. Please note this does not apply to Made to order items, if faulty however they can be exchanged for replacements. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions page for more information.

Assembly & Packaging

The vast majority of our furniture is delivered in a flat packed form for safety during transit. The customer is required to assemble any items upon their receipt and ensure that there are no manufacturing faults, any faults must be reported to Really Well Made within 3 days. For help in assembling items we offer a white glove service where your furniture will be carried into your room of choice, assembled and the packaging will be removed. Our white glove service usually costs £100 for addresses within the M25 with easy access. For difficult to access properties or areas outside the M25 please contact us for a bespoke quote. Please note that white glove services may take longer to arrange and can lengthen the overall delivery time.
