The philosophy behind the Hee Collection was to take an archetypal chair and perfect it down to the last detail while cutting the expression to the minimum. The goal was to create a contemporary chair that would fit into a wide range of contexts. The attempt was successful, and the Hee series is a pragmatic and easily decoded chair series. Like a line drawing, it wraps metre after metre of metal wire into neat, straight lines in three versions: bar stool, lounge chair, and dining chair.
This version comes in a hot-dip galvanised metallic finish – with a natural patina that becomes a matte, grey hue over time. The Hee Collection is not only a uniquely designed edition but also a versatile piece that can be used both indoors and outdoors. A galvanised finish is specifically designed to withstand constant wet conditions, making it the perfect solution for hassle-free outdoor furniture that can remain outside all year round.
The Hee Collection features harmonious proportions with its light expression, and the hot-dip galvanised finish makes it a perfect choice for simple yet fashionable outdoor furniture. The optional seat cushions provide extra comfort.
The dining chair and bar stool can be linked together in rows for conference use. All of the Hee series is stackable, and the maximum stacking height varies from one model to another.

Hee Welling
Hee Welling is a Danish furniture designer who founded his own studio in Copenhagen in 2003. Welling has received a number of design awards, including the Bo Bedre Award (Denmark), Good Design Award (USA) and has been nominated as the Danish designer of the year in both 2013 and 2014.
Welling is the son of a cabinetmaker, and his fascination with production techniques, materials and machinery began as a child. He went on to study at The University of Art and Design in Helsinki, and received his master’s degree in furniture design from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts (where he also now tutors).
