Pour Over Kettle by Kinto
The 'Pour Over' Kettle from Kinto has been designed for preparing the finest slow drip/filter coffee. With it's ergonomic handle and narrow spout, the pour over kettle allows precise pouring until the very last drop. Kinto have balanced aesthetics and functionality with this product, not only is a beautiful object but every aspect of it's design intends to make the brewing process more enjoyable:
The curvature of the spout has an instantly noticeable expression, this shape allows the speed of water flow to be easily controllable with small movements in the wrist.
- A flip-top lid will stay in place even at extreme tilted angles.
- An ergonomic handle makes the kettle easy to hold for long periods of time as it fits so well in the hand
- Perfectly crafted from stainless steel, the kettle is very strong but also lightweight.
- Usable on most hob types - heat up the water directly or transfer it to the kettle afterwards.
Japan is a land of ceremony and in recent years this culture has extended to producing coffee. It's called 'kissaten' coffee shop culture but Kinto have helpfully translated it as 'slow coffee style'. Kissaten was born from hole-in-the-wall coffee shops all around Japanese metropolises; it's a style of making coffee where nothing is ever rushed. Cups are gently warmed, the grounds weighed precisely and hot water is slowly poured - to create the most fully flavoured and balanced coffee.
