Inspired by traditional, box-formed seating silhouettes, the Frama's Atelier Couch/Sofa was created to generate spatial serenity through the use of simple geometries and warm natural materials. Designed in the tradition of early Danish modernists, the Atelier Collection aims to encourage conversation as well as moments of personal reflection.

The Atelier Couch is versatile in its simplicity with the potential to be used in both domestic and public contexts. Place the couch in a freestanding context or against a wall, either individually or grouped together to create a conversation place. The Couch is the ideal size for two people to sit in. Also available as a 1-seater Atelier Chair.

Products in the Atelier Collection have been crafted with high-quality spruce sourced from responsibly-managed forests, with each piece handmade by a Lithuanian cabinet maker. It is a timeless furniture piece with an honest approach to form and construction. It features a semi-encapsulated rectilinear silhouette balanced by rounder, softer edges. Each piece highlights visible joints and is finished with natural furniture oils.

Frama

Frama is a multi-disciplinary design brand that creates lifestyle objects to inspire the senses and encourage mindful living. With an emphasis on natural materials, simple geometries, and uncompromising quality, Frama’s work connects the imaginative with the practical, resulting in a uniquely warm and honest aesthetic.

Since the launch of their first collection in 2011, Frama has embraced an organic and collaborative approach to design; an approach that is equally inspired by the old and the new, by digital technologies and analogue traditions. Frama’s paired-back industrial minimalist style has created a unified and distinct aesthetic that spans across a growing range of product collections.
