Pauline Gilain has designed the rug to be abstract, and therefore perfectly suited for modern interiors. Colour, shape and functionality are the cornerstones of Pauline’s approach when she looks to design something both cosy and welcoming. Inspired by artisanship, her designs come to life and truly inhabit our homes thanks to her use of materials and techniques.
Serge is crafted from hand-tufted New Zealand wool, with cut pile for an unbelievably soft feel underfoot. To further define the merging colours, a subtle bevelled edge is carefully hand-cut between each tonal change.
Also designed as part of the same collection - the Jane Rug by Pauline Gilain is available in tonal shades of red.

Please note these care instructions:
Always use a vacuum cleaner with a non-motorised head to care for your rug. Motorised heads pull out connected fibres from the rug and will reduce its lifespan.
The rug will shed most when it is new. Vacuum it reguarly and the shedding will gradually reduce over time.
