Designed by Moebe, the Tray takes inspiration from traditional Japanese trays but goes one step further. Crafted with FSC-certified oak veneer, it features a single panel with a lip on each side and is supported from underneath by two pieces of wood, ensuring stability. This construction allows the Tray to hover slightly above any surface, making it easy to lift and carry, thanks to its lightweight design. The thin edges of the Tray, where the wood's grain direction is intentionally altered to create a visually appealing, subtle contrast.
This minimalist design not only adds to the Tray's aesthetic appeal but also enhances its versatility, making it suitable for a wide range of uses, from serving as a tray to storing kitchen essentials.
