Lex Pott uses striking colour combinations and staggered dimensions to create a series of Pillar Candles for HAY. With a distinctive and playful design, the Pillar Candle is available in a number of assorted colours and designs.

Lex Pott is Dutch designer and graduate of the Design Academy Eindhoven (2009), who now operates a studio in the outskirts of Amsterdam. He prefers to work with high-quality wood, stone and metal, often taking a layered approach to design projects. He has a natural intuition to experiment with materials and to undertake extensive research in his work. A number of his designs are notable for unlikely combinations of techniques and materials. For HAY, he has created products that incorporate elemental shapes into resolutely functional objects.
