For the Emeco '1 Inch' Collection, Emeco and Jasper Morrison together have created a new collection of chairs, stools and tables that reflect Emeco's time-honoured values and uncompromising standards. 1 Inch is a product family that is strong, simple, timeless and engineered to last. The collection features stacking chairs in various recycled materials and an aluminium collection for heavy-duty environments. For the 1 Inch Reclaimed Chair the silhouette matches the aluminium frame versions but the chair is entirely constructed from a polypropylene and wood fibre composite.
The 1 Inch Reclaimed Stackable Chair is made from 90% reclaimed material - 88% waste polypropylene and 2% waste wood fibre. The mix of the two materials creates a wood composite with the strength and endurance of a synthetic that has a warmer, more natural texture than raw polypropylene. Thanks to the use of high-performance materials, the 1 Inch Reclaimed Chair is a robust, versatile piece for indoor and outdoor settings. It is an excellent choice for home dining rooms, home offices as well as cafés, restaurants and other public venues.

Jasper Morrison is one of Britain’s most successful and well renowned industrial designers. He is best known for a design approach that makes hard-working products appear aesthetically quiet.
