Wall Shelving System by Moebe is made entirely from individual components, giving you infinite possibilities for how it can fit within your home or office space. Uprights are made from steel-painted poles, whilst shelves attach at any height of your choosing and are held in place with solid pieces of oak.

The wedge construction system of the shelving system offers a speedy assembly, allowing for each shelf to be positioned at the preferred height with ease. Furthermore, using wedges as the key building principle gives you the full freedom to play around with the system, adapting it easily to suit your specific and changing needs. The system can be extended endlessly in both width and height, allowing you to make the most efficient use of your space possible. With its innovative and straightforward design, the shelving system offers numerous possibilities to optimise your wall space. It allows you to create a variety of configurations, and additionally, it can be seamlessly connected to a floor-standing shelving system.

This approach to design is a core foundation of the Moebe brand. Co-founder Anders Thams explains: “We design based on the principle of creating simple constructions; not gluing, welding, using screws, etc. Instead we try to challenge these common ways of constructing products. We strive to reduce our designs to their most simple forms and functions and thereby create design leaning towards the banal”.

On this webpage we have listed individual components so you can create a more bespoke shelving system. However, popular shelving arrangements that will suit many customers are also available to purchase in 230 cm, 200 cm, 115 cm, 85 cm and 65 cm Configurations. Neergard Christensen, Nicholas Oldroyd and Anders Thams

Architects Neergard Christensen, Nicholas Oldroyd and cabinet maker Anders Thams are the founders and designers of Moebe: A Scandinavian design brand based in Copenhagen, Denmark.

At Moebe they design, produce and keep things as simple as possible - Focussing on the essentials with a curious mind and analogue approach. Moebe strive to reduce their designs to the most basic forms, thereby creating intuitive and honest products. One of their first designs 'Frame' has quickly become a modern-day classic. It combines two pieces of acrylic glass, four pieces of wood or metal and a large rubber band to hold it all together. It now graces some of the finest homes, galleries and commercial environments around the world.
